Patricia Do - Therapist

Hi, I’m Patricia Do

Welcome!

Together, I can support you in accessing your true authentic self, reaching your personal goals, and learning to live with the imperfect parts of you.

I firmly believe that we all deserve a safe space to explore our thoughts, feelings, opinions, and values, without judgement. This is what I hope to offer to those I work with. A space to develop a deeper understanding for patterns within your relationships, decisions, and coping strategies. My passion is supporting people in adjusting to various life transitions and recovering from toxic relationships. My specialties are in the areas of anxiety, body image, trauma, career stress, identity challenges, relationships distress, and the pressures of our roles within our family system.

About Me

I am a licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT113180) within the state of California. I completed a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s of science degree in counseling psychology at California State University, Stanislaus. I have been practicing therapy since 2016. Over this time, I have provided therapy to adults, children, and families within various non-profit agencies and county mental health programs. Currently, I am a therapist for a local school district.

Diversity and Inclusion

I have worked with individuals from various cultural backgrounds, ages, ethnicities, religious affiliations, sexual orientations, and gender identities. If I am unfamiliar with your particular cultural needs, I am delighted to learn.

Therapeutic Approach

I believe in the autonomy of my clients. I do not take the role of a decision maker in the lives of those I work with. I am a client centered therapist. My hope is to support individuals in developing their own personal goals, in evaluating their current behaviors to determine if they are in alignment with their desired selves, and in breaking away from unrealistic expectations.
